Signing In
How to log into Self Service, and troubleshooting for when you can't
When you access Self Service for the first time, you can either:
login via Single Sign-on with one of the options available, e.g. ‘Login via Google’ with the relevant email address** for your account details.

OR
Click the ‘Sign up now’ link, follow through the steps to create a Self Service account for your email address**, then login with your email and password (On subsequent visits, you can log straight in with your email and password).

** The email address you’ll need to use for this is the one you will have received your invite link to Self Service into. If you didn’t receive an invite email and this is just your company’s self service site, use your work email address. Using a different email address for this won’t allow you to sign in, since it won’t match with what is already in the system awaiting Self Service account sign-up.
Trouble Signing In?
If you’re having trouble logging in, it could be for a few different reasons. Check out the section which best matches your situation:
1. I don’t have an account that’s authenticated by one of these providers.
2. I do have an authenticated account but it’s not working.
3. I’ve created a new account but it’s not working.
4. I’ve forgotten my password.
1. I don’t have an account that’s authenticated by one of these providers
No problem. We’d recommend that you go to the ‘Sign up now’ link near the foot of the login page and follow through the wizard to create a Self Service account for yourself. Remember, the email address you use MUST be the one you received your invite link to Self Service into, or, if you didn’t receive an invite link and this is just your company’s Self Service site, this must be your work email address.
If you don’t want to create a Self Service account this way, you can alternatively go create an authenticated account with one of the displayed Authentication Providers (e.g. Google / Microsoft), remembering to use the relevant email address.
2. I do have an authenticated account but it’s not letting me in to Self Service
Most likely here is that the email address your using for Single Sign-on isn’t the one you received your invite link to / it’s not your work email address. Make sure you’re using the correct one and try again, or go check your account with your authentication provider.
3. I've created a new account from the login page link, but it’s not letting me in to Self Service
Most likely here is that the email address you’ve used when creating a Self Service account isn’t the one you received your invite link to / it’s not your work email address. You won’t be able to create a working Self Service account unless the email address you use matches with the one you received your linked to (or, if you didn’t received an email invite link, your work email address). If this is the case try signing up again, this time using the relevant email address.
4. I've forgotten my password
Click the ‘Forgot your password’ link on the login page and follow the steps to reset your password, then try signing in again.
Creating an account with an Authentication Provider - Example Google
The example below takes you through how to create an account within an Authentication Provider, In this example we'll use Google, but the steps for other authenticators will be similar.
Go to Google's sign-in page.
Choose to create an account (either work or personal)
Fill in the details requested of you. When asked for an email address, you MUST use the email address which is related to your Self Service account (ths will be one of either the email address your Self Service invite was emailed to, or your normal work account).
Complete creation of your new google account.
Note: Even though it's using e.g. Google / Microsoft authenticator, the email address is not necesarily one that ends with an '@gmail.com' or '@outlook.com' domain. It just has to be associated with a Google / Microsoft / Other account, e.g. it can easily be '[email protected]', as long as that email address is associated with a Google / Microsoft or other Authentication provider account.
After this, return to your Self Service login page and select to 'Login via.. Google'. If you're still logged into your Google account on the browser session, you'll go straight to the Self Service page. If not, you'll be asked to provide the password you just set for your new Google account, and then you'll move through to Self Service.
